Does your child have a favorite sport? Or do you have a favorite sport that you'd love for your kid to enjoy, too? Decorating a room around a single sport theme can give all your design decisions a tight focus. We've rounded up 5 different bedrooms that all feature a different sport and provide some inspiration for setting up an athletic bedroom for your child.

1. Soccer RoomAaron Christensen of Embellishments Kids designed this great soccer room as part of a challenge: he had only $300 and 72 hours to do it.
2. Baseball RoomThis stunning baseball room won "Bedroom of the Year" from Orlando Life Magazine in 2011. It was designed by Masterpiece Design Group for the son of a major league baseball player.
3. Tennis RoomRoom Doodles designed this custom wooden wall mural that showcases a tennis theme.
4. Football Room via Houzz. Klang & Associates designed this room for a model home; we think the wall mural is a great idea (especially with their suggestion to use chalkboard paint!).
5. Basketball Room from HGTV. Huge wooden wall figures, clean stripes and jerseys as decor make this basketball room... wait for it... a slam dunk.

Have you used a single-sport theme in a kids' room?
