Since spring is taking its sweet time getting here, let's spend a weekend catching up inside — before we get distracted by the great, warm outdoors. Washing walls is a simple and straightforward way to bring a space back to life, without a lot of thought. The task not only gets rids of dirt and grime, but it automatically makes your place seem brighter and fresher.

This Weekend's Assignment: Pick one room in your home and give the walls a good wipe down.

This weekend's job is super easy and mindless, so relax your brain a bit while you get down to work. Forget about the impending tax deadline, or anything else complicated, and concentrate on this one simple thing. Since anyone can do it, recruit the rest of your household to help —even the little ones.

Here's a handy tip: Consider testing a small, unnoticeable patch of wall with your cleaning tools first before applying it to a large area.

Remember, as with all of our Weekend Projects, just do what you have the time and energy to do. And hey, if you don't feel like washing the walls, choose one of our other weekend projects to get done.
