Disney parks might be the happiest places on Earth, but maybe this colorful Palm Springs pad is more your speed. Walt Disney and his wife Lillian built this home in 1962, and it's where they spent their twilight years.

According to the listing, the home has been "modernized," and yet remains "much the way it was when the Disney family lived here"—they sold the house in 2015. The current owners have it set up as a vacation rental, and the four bedroom, four bathroom place retains the "animated" primary color scheme and most of the original furniture.

There's abundant outdoor space including a patio, pool, and hot tub, and the property is set back from the second fairway of the Indian Canyons North Course.

The home is listed for $899,000.
